Well after being down for a little while, I’m finally back.  My web host has been making changes to the web servers, including adding more PHP security and increasing overall server stability.

I’ve recently moved back to Grand Forks, where I have started my 3rd year as a student at the University of North Dakota.  I moved into my fraternity house, Beta Theta Pi, and am currently holding the positions of Secretary and Webmaster.

Around June of this past summer, our website was hacked and the Home page was defaced.  This was more then likely caused by a vulnerability in either an outdated PHP calendar or news feed.  I recently did an update of the home page with some basic information for now.  Soon, WordPress will be integrated.  This will allow all positions of the house to update their portions of the website without any problems.

After having some FTP troubles and dealing with recently numerous server restarts, the WordPress version of the website has been moved into the root directory.  Although there are still some bugs to work out, 99% of the site is done.

Well I am almost ready to move the site up to the root directory.  I have copied the HTML content of the previous layout into the new WordPress theme.  There are a couple more tweaks and fixes that I have to do before the site is moved up.  I expect these to be done tomorrow.

I still am searching for the correct theme for the site.  I have been looking into possibly converting my old theme into a WordPress theme.  I should know for sure what I am going to do by the end of this weekend.

I have installed WordPress, (http://wordpress.org) onto my new web server.  I am currently searching for a new layout that I can use with WordPress for the website.
